Regulatory status

This statement is deliberately explicit, because in payments an ambiguous one is worse than none at all.

Champ Pay Nigeria Limited (“ChampPay”) is not a licensed payment institution, electronic money institution, acquirer, or gaming payment processor in any jurisdiction. ChampPay does not hold card-scheme acquiring registration under Visa or Mastercard rules, does not hold gaming-authority licensing in any jurisdiction, does not hold PCI DSS certification, and does not operate its own pay-in, payout or settlement rails.

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide regulated payment services, an invitation to transact, financial advice, or an offer of securities. Descriptions of what ChampPay is building are statements of intent, not of present capability. Where this changes, this page and the position statement will change with it.

Company

Champ Pay Nigeria Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. Correspondence should be sent through the contact form.

Privacy notice

What we collect. Only what you type into the contact form: your name, work email address, company, the capacity you are writing in, and your message.

Why we hold it. To reply to you and to continue that conversation. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated.

What we do not do. We do not sell your details, share them with third parties for marketing, add you to a mailing list without you asking, or use them for automated decision-making or profiling.

Processors. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Contact form submissions are delivered by email through a transactional email provider. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when you load a page here.

Retention. Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.

Your rights. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and say so.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Where this site refers to market conditions or industry practice, those references describe the market generally and are not claims about ChampPay's own performance. ChampPay publishes no figures about its own volumes, customers or results, because it has none to publish.
